Overview: The pandemic and associated crises of 2020 intensified and compounded the stress of everyday life. During this session, we will discuss ways to manage chronic and intense stress and how to regroup when it overwhelms us.
- Participants will be able to recognize different models of self-care.
- Participants will be able to contextualize self-care within the distinctive demands of 2020-21.
- Participants will be able to define the model(s) of selfcare most helpful to them.
- Participants will be able to describe indicators they, or others, are in need of self-care.
- Participants will be able to identify effective self-care strategies.
Continuing Education Credits:
2.0 CEU’s are available for LCSW, LCPC, LSW, LPC, and QIDP
All other professionals are encouraged to check with their respective licensing boards for questions about whether this workshop meets criteria for continuing education credits.
Following the event, attendees will receive an email with a link to the online evaluation to complete. Once the evaluation response window closes, CEU certificates will be emailed. This process takes approximately 3 weeks following the event. All attendees MUST complete the online evaluation in order to receive a CEU certificate, no exceptions. Evaluations open within 2 days post-event and remain open for 10 days.
