Wellness Wednesday - Protecting Your Mental Health

This training is part of IPHA's B2B Professional Development Series, provided in partnership with DCEO and partnering hubs. 


Overview: This presentation will summarize the mental health and wellness benefits that are included in most insurance plans. Free resources that are available to the public will also be discussed. Emphasis will be placed on the value and importance of mental healthcare and eliminating the stigma that is often associated with obtaining mental healthcare.     

Speaker: Phil Talley, Project Manager, IPHA

Philip Talley is a licensed insurance professional with more than thirty years of diverse experience in sales, customer service, administration, and management. Philip has assisted employer groups of various sizes with the implementation, administration, and management of employee benefit plans, including group health insurance. He is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, Illinois State Association of Health Underwriters, and Central Illinois Association of Health Underwriters. Philip is currently a Project Manager for the Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) where he has successfully managed IPHA’s Immunization Billing Project and HIV Billing Project. The IPHA Immunization Billing Project has received national recognition on the CDC’s website as a Billing Project Success Story: Philip is enthusiastically committed to applying his professional experience toward supporting the IPHA’s efforts to protect and advance the health, welfare, and safety of all Illinois’ citizens.
