IPHA has started a petition to send to the Capitol to urge our state leaders to pass a budget now! After more than 120 days without a budget, local health departments and community-based organizations, especially the ones that serve rural and impoverished communities with few other resources – are in dire straits. We are asking for your support by signing the online petition below. We are also busy garnering national and international support for the petition while at the APHA Annual Meeting this week in Chicago!
