IRHA is also accepting letters of interest from students who would like to serve on theStudent Member Board.
- Quarterly Meetings: Board meets Jan & April in Springfield, Aug night before Annual Conference and Oct in Carlinville at Annual Retreat. Jan and April meetings are 11 a.m. to 1 pm. and Aug meetings is evening before conference. Annual Retreat is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Call in option available but we ask that you make at least 2 meetings a year in person.
- Qualifications: Currently enrolled in HIT/Health Informatics, Allied Health (Nursing PA APN), Social Work, Public Health, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dental, Health Care Management and wants to work in a RURAL SETTING.
- Time Commitment: In addition to quarterly meetings, assist with organization of Rural Health Clinical Speaker(s) on your campus and Student Rural Health Career Forums, see past Forums on www.ilruralhealth.org in 2018 we are holding them in Bloomington and Carbondale.
- Apply by Nov. 20th Please send letter to firstname.lastname@example.org with name, major, school, GPA, and explanation (not more than 400 words) on why you would make a good board member and how much time you would have to devote.
