
Enhance the Illinois Public Health Workforce!
Please join us May 2 and 3, 2018 in Springfield, Illinois for Public Health 3.0: An Illinois Workforce Development Forum. This will be an exciting two-day event for local health department staff, hospitals, and community partners to explore how the Illinois public health system can integrate the recommendations and components from Public Health 3.0.
Plenary and Workshop Presenters
Plenary and workshop presenters will feature both nationally renowned experts and innovative initiatives from Illinois. We are excited to bring this variety of knowledge and experience to Springfield! Please review the draft agenda for more details on the plenary and workshop presentations.
The University of Illinois at Chicago School of Public Health is sponsoring up to 20 scholarships to attend the Forum. Scholarships are limited to local health department attendees serving in jurisdictions under 115,000. Please submit your application by Friday, April 13.
Continuing Education Credits
An application is pending to offer up to 12 CEUs for the following licensed attendees: Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Advanced Practice Nurse (APN), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), and Licensed Social Worker (LSW). Additionally, this program is a designated event for Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES) Category I CECH up to 12 hours. Check the forum webpage for more details.
