Organizations Needed to Host IPHA AmeriCorps Members

The IPHA AmeriCorps Program is currently seeking host site locations.

The IPHA AmeriCorps Program provides trained, dedicated individuals to help meet locally identified needs in local health agencies across the state. The purpose of the IPHA AmeriCorps Program is for the members to gain valuable public health work experience, while the host sites and the communities they serve benefit from the services the AmeriCorps Members provide.

At this time, we are seeking agencies to act as host sites for members who will serve either 900 or 1200 hours starting in February.

IPHA AmeriCorps Members will receive a living allowance/stipend, fringe benefits, an education award, health insurance, and professional development opportunities.

Recruitment and selection of members will be a joint effort between the host site and IPHA.

Any agency interested in hosting an IPHA AmeriCorps Member should complete and return the application by 5:00 pm, January 3, 2019
