Resource: COVID-19 Guide for Workers in Illinois

As May 1st marked International Labor Day, the Center for Healthy Work wants to acknowledge those who continue fight for their rights in the workplace. We also celebrate the victories of workers around the world who have organized for change. COVID-19 makes it abundantly clear that worker health is public health as it presents an unprecedented challenge for workers in Illinois and across the nation.

We are excited to share our COVID-19 Guide for Workers in Illinois created in partnership with the Great Lakes Center for Occupational Health and Safety, and the Policy, Practice and Prevention Research Center. The guide provides information about rights in the workplace, and state and federal benefits available to those employed in Illinois.  We aim to ensure the safety and health of Illinois workers and their families. The guide will be updated as new information emerges and will be posted in Spanish in the coming days. You are encouraged to share the guide widely with workers, worker advocacy organizations, and allies.
