This is an update to previous versions of the Multisystem Inflammatory Syndrome in Children (MIS-C) guidance. Healthcare practitioners are urged to continue to remain vigilant regarding this syndrome that is seen in children. In addition, the attached guidance contains more detailed steps related to the Reporting Process through I-NEDSS and to the local health department, which can assist hospitals as they proceed with reporting suspected MIS-C cases.
