HFS Information on ABE Downtime in September

ABE, the ABE Partner Portal, Manage My Case (MMC) and the ABE Appeals Portal will NOT be available beginning at 5:00 PM on Thursday, September 2 through September 7, 2021 for planned upgrades.  

Customers can still use their benefits including Link, Medical and Cash. Link benefits will be available to use on the scheduled date.    

If possible, please wait until ABE is back online to submit applications, upload documents, or submit a report of birth. Any documents due to the state during this downtime should be uploaded once the system is available.  

The States' eligibility computer system will also be down for system upgrades. The ABE Customer Call Center will be available during normal business hours but will have very limited functionality.  

The outage will not impact the Medical Electronic Data Interchange (MEDI) system. 

If you need to submit an application during the downtime, customers or providers may mail signed paper applications to:

MPE providers should complete a paper MPE application and fax to 217-557-5046.
