IFLOSS Oral Health Coalition Survey

IFLOSS Oral Health Coalition Survey

The IFLOSS Oral Health Coalition is back!  Due to several factors, including the COVID 19 Pandemic, IFLOSS activities have been on hold. The Board of Directors believe that now, more than ever, is the time to revitalize the Coalition. They need your help in planning the future of IFLOSS. Please let us know how IFLOSS can help you to improve oral health in Illinois by completing this survey.

For those not familiar with the IFLOSS Coalition, the coalition was founded in 1998, as a public-private partnership that addresses possible barriers that Illinois residents might encounter in their pursuit for good oral health.  The mission of the Coalition is to improve the oral health of all Illinois residents through advocacy and education. Members of IFLOSS include local health departments, health centers, schools, state agencies, dentists and dental hygienists and other community members who have an interest in improving oral health. The IFLOSS Coalition’s accomplishments have been many. It was responsible for publishing and/or distributing previous Illinois Oral Health Plans. It collaborated with the Illinois General Assembly to pass the Healthy Smiles Fund and also with the Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatricians to develop the Bright Smiles from Birth oral health education program for primary care providers.  It convenes state-wide annual conferences and periodic regional meetings to provide opportunities for discussion, networking and learning.

How can IFLOSS best serve you? Please let us know by completing the survey which will help the BOD to determine IFLOSS Coalition’s future direction. The survey should take no more than ten minutes to complete. Please respond to this survey by Wednesday, September 30.  We look forward to your response!
