Each month, the Illinois Association of Medicaid Health Plans (IAMHP) facilitates meetings with HFS, various healthcare provider groups, and the Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs). The purpose of these meetings is to give the providers an opportunity to discuss billing issues with representatives from HFS and each of the MCOs. The monthly meetings for local public health departments have been scheduled for the second Monday of each month at 12:00 PM. Please note that the time for the upcoming meeting on August 8 has been changed to 10:00 AM. The deadline for submitting new issues to be discussed at the meetings is always 10 business days prior to the date of the meeting. Health Departments should send their billing issues to Phil Talley, email@example.com. Phil compiles all new issues onto one spreadsheet and sends them to IAMHP to be added to the agenda for the next meeting. Please note that the deadline for submitting new issues is strictly enforced.
