Edwardsville – The Illinois Rural Health Association (IRHA) is teaming up with Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and the Area Health Education Centers to host a Rural Health Careers Forum. The Forum will take place on Saturday, March 25th from 10:00 am to Noon at the Morris University Center on the SIUE campus. Free parking is available in Lot B off Circle Drive.
“With the aging population, there is a growing demand for professionals to work in the rural health arena. Doctors, allied health professionals, healthcare administrators, medical billing and coding & IT experts are in high demand. The Forum will help students gain insight into the many careers paths you can take and the best way to get there,” explained Margaret Vaughn, IRHA Executive Director.
The Forum will consist of three panel discussions with top healthcare administrators, clinicians, and grad students, as well as academic program chairs, who will explain what they do and offer advice to those wanting to enter the field.
The Forum is free and includes a complimentary lunch after, but registration by March 24th is required www.ilruralhealth.org For additional information contact Margaret Vaughn at 217-280-0206 or email@example.com March 25th Rural Health Careers Forum Poster Final.pdf
