Last week the House Budget Committee advanced legislation that would repeal major portions of the Affordable Care Act. We expect the full House will consider the bill on Thursday. The bill would result in an estimated 24 million people losing health insurance by 2026. It would also eliminate the Prevention and Public Health Fund and drastically cut the federal contribution to the Medicaid program. Join us in urging Congress to oppose this and any future effort to repeal the ACA.
Instead of rolling back the progress we’ve made, let’s call on Congress to build upon the successes of the ACA and work toward providing health coverage to the 28 million people who are still uninsured.
Use this action alert to send an email or call your members of Congress by dialing the Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 and use the action alert message for talking points.
