ACE Overview

The Illinois Public Health Association has developed resources for local health departments in response to the Accountable Care Entity (ACE) RFP released by the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services on August 1, 2013. This round of ACE funding targets the “Family Health” population – Medicaid-eligible children and pregnant women and, at the option of the ACE, the Medicaid expansion population that gained eligibility on January 1, 2014. The ACEs may dramatically change the delivery of Maternal and Child Health services in Illinois.
