Workshop Title: Sexual Orientations Today: Navigating Expansions and Backlash

Workshop Overview: Diverse sexual orientations have never been more visible, or more complex. The range of identities and presentations have expanded exponentially over the past decade, creating a predictable backlash. The resulting intersections that clients unspool with us can be challenging to navigate. This presentation will explore personal responses and clinical approaches to work within the rainbow.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Participants will become familiar with diversity within sexual orientation.
  2. Participants will gain an understanding of current challenges faced by sexual minorities and psychological responses to these.
  3. Participants will explore clinical responses to case vignettes.
