CHW Colorectal Cancer Patient Navigator Training
Training Description
CRC Training: Colorectal cancer is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the United States. This upskilling will provide CHWs with the knowledge and skills to tackle this health problem in their clients. Our colorectal cancer educational modules cover anatomy and medical terminology, colorectal cancer 101, eating for a healthy colon, colorectal cancer screening, and colorectal cancer diagnosis and treatment. After completion of the online modules, join the IPHA team for a 2-hour synchronous training debriefing to put your new knowledge and skills to practice.
CRC Debriefing: Please join us on Zoom for a CRC training debriefing, toolkit debriefing, outreach strategizing, and demonstration of the Cologuard kit.
Dates and Times
- The online self-paced training modules will be available May 19, 2025 - June 20, 2025.
- The live Zoom debriefing will be on June 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

If you used HRSA funds to take CHW 101 training with IPHA since March 2023, you can take this training free of charge!
