Center for Continuing Education & Workforce Development
The IPHA Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development is designed to foster communication, education, collaboration and innovation among the public health workforce and community partners.
IPHA strives to foster an inclusive, diverse and culturally responsive learning environment for all. We welcome our statewide public health partners to a one-stop shop for ongoing public health workforce development and capacity-building trainings, webinars, e-learnings, events and conferences.
The Center is located in downtown Springfield at our offices on 500 W. Monroe, and includes:
- Full-service podiums equipped with Microsoft Windows, webcams, audio and video interface, and USB connections
- Speaker system
- Free on-site parking
- Accommodations for a variety of seating arrangement styles
Rooms:
- Training Center - accommodates up to 40 people theater-style
- Board Room – accommodates up to 20 people in a variety of seating arrangements including executive, classroom, pod, and theater style.
- Collaboration Room – accommodates 6 people; designed for small meetings or team work
- Kitchenette – small kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker
- Rooms can be used simultaneously to allow for breakout groups.
