- Explain what domestic violence is and the various forms it takes beyond physical violence
- Present data on the various ways in which domestic violence has an impact on health and the healthcare system
- Share information on how CHWs have played a positive role in supporting survivors of domestic violence
- List some of the federal and state laws that help to protect survivors of domestic violence and provide aid to them
- Outline ways in which CHWs can educate communities, support patients who are survivors, link survivors with supportive services, and partner with domestic violence agencies to ensure your communities are well connected to the agencies that can provide information, support, and access to safety and justice
