This training equips Community Health Workers with the confidence, skills, and practical tools to compassionately support families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss. Participants deepen their understanding of the emotional and developmental impact of loss across gestational ages and learn trauma-informed, grief-informed approaches to care—including in subsequent pregnancies. Emphasizing the vital role of CHWs, the session builds capacity to offer thoughtful communication, meaningful rituals, and community-based support that honors each family’s experience. The training also addresses the personal and professional impact of this work, offering strategies to sustain well-being and strengthen team support.
