This presentation will include two parts, meant to share basic information about the prostate cancer experience from the medical and psychosocial perspectives. The presentation includes key terms in diagnosis, treatment, and staging of a prostate cancer diagnosis. Common psychosocial concerns experienced by those impacted by a prostate cancer diagnosis, types of support, and signs of psychosocial distress, will also be discussed.
