This presentation will provide a comprehensive analysis of men’s health, including detailing reasons behind its emerging focus within public health and policy. In addition to examining health disparity data in areas of chronic disease, mental health, and substance abuse, suggested contributing factors to poor men’s health outcomes and considerations to make within the context of community health workers will be covered. The discussion will conclude with an overview of current programming efforts for men, as well as helpful resources to be aware of.
