Seizure Recognition & First Aid for Community Health Workers
Training Description
This virtual training equips participants with a solid understanding of epilepsy, including types of seizures and treatment options, while exploring the real-life challenges faced by those living with the condition. It offers practical strategies to support seizure control, injury prevention, healthy lifestyle choices, and overall quality of life. Participants will build confidence in their ability to support adults with epilepsy and connect them to local resources and services. Drawing on their experience as Community Health Workers, participants will be prepared to help individuals with epilepsy—and those with other chronic conditions—improve their self-management skills and take charge of their health.
