Youth Cannabis Driving Prevention

Thank you for your interest in the Youth Cannabis Driving Prevention course! We have reached our maximum number of trainees that are allowed in a cohort of this course, which is 25. With the great amount of interest this course has received, we have developed a waitlist for interested participants. If a trainee drops out, you will be contacted on a first-come, first-served basis. If we have funding to host another cohort of this training, we will contact the individuals who are on this waitlist first.
Training Description
This training series will inform CHWs on outreach & education to 18 - 25-year-olds about the dangers of cannabis and driving impairment. We will focus on how cannabis affects health, impairs driving, and the potential for getting a substance-related DUI violation. The training will be 3.5 hours. CHWs will also be provided with a comprehensive digital toolkit and tangible distribution items to aid in outreach, engagement, and education.
Dates and Times

- Online self-paced Modules
- Complete no later than November 7
- Module 2
- Live, Zoom session on November 13 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Module 3
- Live, Zoom session on December 11 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Cost
- FREE!
- This training is capped at 25 CHWs. All registered CHWS will receive a $200 stipend upon completion of all 3 modules!
All three modules must be completed to receive a $200 stipend. Attendance for the Live Zoom sessions in Modules 2 and 3 is MANDATORY!
If you are unable to attend the live Zoom session on November 13 and December 11, please do not register for this training.
