This training session will provide participants with an introduction and foundational understanding of the 340B Drug Pricing Program. True to its design, the 340B program allows eligible healthcare organizations to purchase outpatient drugs at significantly reduced prices, enabling them to stretch scarce resources, improve patient access to medications, expand healthcare services to vulnerable populations, and enhance health outcomes for underserved populations. Participants will hear from two community-based organizations that are utilizing the 340B program to increase access to quality healthcare for vulnerable individuals, families, and communities.
