Brynn Lau will present on the policy process and principles, values, and pressures that guide public health policymaking with regard to cancer disparities among the Chinese-American Population. The presentation will describe the disparities faced by Chinese-Americans in cancer health and cancer care despite the advancements in preventive care and treatments. Additionally, policy options to address these disparities will be discussed.
Brynn is completing her Master of Public Health in Health Policy Analysis at Brown School of Public Health, Washington University in St. Louis. She is a member of the Student Section and this summer, Brynn completed a MPH Health Policy Practicum with the Illinois Public Health Association.
