Health Department Supervisory Skills Series Training Application
Training Description
Now featuring a new hybrid format, this virtual series builds supervisory skills applicable to health departments and focuses on practical tips and skill-building.
Dates and Times
Self-Paced Online Modules: Access begins on Monday, April 6, 2026. Modules are due Friday, May 8, 2026.
Weekly "Live Chats": Three virtual Zoom sessions at 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM will run from Wednesday, April 15, 2026, to Wednesday, April 29, 2026. During these chats, attendees will build upon the information they learn during the online modules.
Application
This training, sponsored by UIC School of Public Health P3RC and the Illinois Department of Public Health, will accept 20 applicants to participate in this cohort. To be eligible to apply for this funded training opportunity, you must:
- Be an employee with the Illinois Department of Public Health or an Illinois local health department
- Be a supervisor for at least 6 months, but no more than 5 years
