IPHA to Offer MCH-related Mini-Grants for CBOs

IPHA is pleased to announce a mini-grant opportunity for community-based organizations (CBOs) located in the counties of Alexander, Knox, Macon, Peoria, Pope, Pulaski, and Vermilion. The purpose of the initiative is to improve maternal, child, and infant health outcomes and to strengthen community health capacity by addressing childhood adversity and trauma.

The program will kick-off in March 2025 and will continue through June 2026. Selected organizations will receive the following:

  • Up to 10 One-Hour FREE Trainings for CBO staff on topics related to childhood adversity, trauma, and wellness.
  • $1,000 Stipend
  • Educational materials and an electronic Resource Directory
  • Free Resource Toolkit designed to support ongoing professional development and to reinforce best practices with items to use in your work with the community.
