Illinois Public Health Association Announces SFY27 HIV Prevention Regional Implementation Grant (RIG) Request for Applications
The Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for organizations interested in participating as subgrantees under the State Fiscal Year 2027 (SFY27) HIV Prevention Regional Implementation Grant (RIG) program.
The RIG program supports community-based organizations, local health departments, and other eligible entities in delivering comprehensive HIV prevention services throughout Illinois. Through this funding opportunity, selected providers will play a vital role in advancing HIV prevention efforts, improving access to care, and addressing the needs of communities disproportionately impacted by HIV.
Eligible organizations are encouraged to apply to support activities including, but not limited to:
- HIV testing services
- Linkage to HIV medical care
- Partner services
- Health education and risk reduction interventions
- Surveillance-Based Services (SBS)
- PrEP and HIV prevention navigation services
- Community outreach and engagement activities
Organizations selected through the SFY27 application process will work collaboratively with IPHA and the Illinois Department of Public Health to implement evidence-based HIV prevention strategies and contribute to statewide goals for ending the HIV epidemic.
