Grundy County Health Department
The Nursing Division of the Grundy County Health Department provides services directed toward improving and
maintaining the physical health of county residents. Perform public health nursing duties as assigned in a local health
department, which may include programs such as WIC, Family Case Management, Communicable Disease,
Immunizations, Lead Case Management, School Nursing, and more. Responsible for client assessment, education,
and coordination of services as defined by specific grant and/or statutory requirements.
The ideal candidate will work cooperatively with staff and the community. Under the supervision of the Director of
Nursing, the candidate will be capable of critical thinking, sound judgement and working independently, while
quickly learning the balance with teamwork for the optimal treatment of each client
