Voting will take place June 7 through June 30. As a member of the Association, you are allowed one vote in the 2024 election. Once the online voting closes and the votes are tallied, elected candidates will be announced to IPHA membership and will assume office for FY2025.

Community Health Worker 101 Training

For this training series, you can mix and match the days you want to attend based on your availability. Please note that you must attend a Day 1 class, a Day 2 class, and complete the online self-paced (asynchronous) modules to earn your certificate of completion.

Training Description

This training incorporates the 13 national core Community Health Worker (CHW) competencies to prepare individuals to serve as CHWs. There will be 12 hours of live, virtual training and 68 hours of online training to be completed on your own. You can mix and match your training days as long as you attend a Day 1 class, a Day 2 class, and complete your online training. All training components are required to earn certification.

Dates and Times

  • Live virtual sessions will be held from 8:45 AM-3:45 PM on July 17th and July 30th
  • Access to self-paced online modules using our Learning Management System (LMS) beings before the first session.

 

Cost

  • $450 (includes book related costs) for Day 1
  • $300 for Day 2

  2. To apply for HRSA funds to cover the cost of this training, please send an email to chwsupport@ipha.com. Add in the subject line "CHW 101 Training". The CHW training team will be in contact with you to see if you qualify.
  3. If you are with an IPHA eligible CBO, please contact your grant manager for cost and registration information.
