Community Health Worker 101 Training
Training Description
The training incorporates the 13 national core Community Health Worker (CHW) competencies to prepare individuals to serve as CHWs. There will be 12 hours of live, virtual training and 68 hours of online training to be completed on your own. The live, virtual training and online self-paced training are both required to earn certification.
Dates and Times
- Live virtual sessions will be held from 8:45 AM-4:30 PM on November 13th-November 14th
- Access to online self-paced online training beings before the first session.
Cost
- $800 (includes book related costs)

- To apply for HRSA funds to cover the cost of this training, please send an email to chwsupport@ipha.com. Add in the subject line "CHW 101 Training". The CHW training team will be in contact with you to see if you qualify.
- If you are with an IPHA eligible CBO, please contact your grant manager for cost and registration information.
