Community Health Worker 101 Training Training
Training Description
The training incorporates the 13 national core CHW competencies to prepare individuals to serve as CHWs. Part A will include 40 hours of training in the form of live virtual Zoom sessions and self-paced online modules. Part B will be scheduled in June/July. Dates and times TBA. Part A and Part B are both required to earn certification.
Dates and Times
Live virtual sessions will be held at the following dates and times:
- May 20, May 22, June 3 (8:45 AM-4:30 PM)
- June 5, June 12 (8:45 AM-12:45 PM)
- June 10 (12:45 PM-4:45 PM)
Access to self-paced online modules using our Learning Management System (LMS) begins before the first session.
Cost
- $750 (includes book related costs)
How To Register

- To apply for the HRSA stipend to cover the cost of this training, please send an email to chwsupport@ipha.com. Add in the subject line "CHW 101 Training". The CHW training team will be in contact with you to see if you qualify.
- If you are with an IPHA eligible CBO, please contact your grant manager for cost and registration information.
