IPHA Student Day 2024
The Illinois Public Health Association (IPHA) Student Section, in partnership with the UIS Public Health Student Association, is pleased to host the IPHA Student Day 2024.
Students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate public health programs throughout Illinois are encouraged to attend to develop their policy and advocacy skills to become effective public health advocates. Last year, more than 120 students from 19 colleges and universities attended the student day activities. Public health program faculty and administrators are also encouraged to attend.
The learning objectives for the day are:
- Learn about the different types of public health advocacy
- Apply public health policy and advocacy skills on current public health issues
- Network with public health students from throughout Illinois.
The IPHA Student Day Planning Committee has put together a compelling agenda beginning at 10:00 AM at the University of Illinois Springfield campus in the Student Union Ballroom. This event is free to all attendees, however, lunch will be “on your own” in the Student Union food court.
