Workshop Overview: Come to refresh your perspective on how to nurture children’s emotional health in today’s children, tweens, and teenagers. Maureen Healy will share a “big picture” to inspire you as well as practical tools to help you in the everyday practice of nurturing positive emotional health and resilience. Participants will gain new ideas and walk away inspired to do the “hard work” they are called to do in the most compassionate way possible. Evidence-based strategies will be shared, and coping skills may address topics such as children’s anxiety/worry, loss, perfectionism, toxic stress, and high sensitivity, as examples.
- To refresh our perspective on emotional health for adults and children.
- To learn new ideas and strategies, which we can apply today to bolster emotional health.
- Be able to "see" emotional health from a larger perspective relative to resilience, and happier life experiences, which we all want.
