Public Health Administrators/Mental Health Professionals Needed For Career Panel Discussion

The IL Rural Health Association is hosting two Student Rural Health Career Forums this spring and we are in need of a Public Health Administrator and Mental Health Professional to serve as a panelist at each one.  Each panelist will speak for about 5-7 minutes about what they do and what path they took to get there. After all the panelists have spoken, there will be a question and answers session. The panel discussion will wrap about noon followed by an informal lunch.

 Saturday, March 24th –SIU- Carbondale 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Saturday, April 7th –ISU- Normal 11:00 a.m.. to 12:30 p.m.

The attendees will be college students and high school upper classmen and the purpose of the Forum is to expose students to the various careers in the rural health arena. With the shortage of healthcare professionals in rural areas, the IL Rural Health Association is trying to inspire students to enter the field.  Please take time to share your expertise.  Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
